1º bach. Extra writing activities

"HUGO", THE FILM

The film Hugo is __ (1) in Paris in the 1900s and tells the __ (2) of a boy who lives in a train station. He spends his time fixing clocks, avoiding the station manager and his __(3) dog, and trying to repair a broken "automaton"which his father gave him before he died. When he meets a rich young girl who mysteriously holds the key to his father's machine, the two of them get caught up in a __ (4) adventure.

It's a film that makes you cry but is also __ (5) hilarious in places. I was totally __ (6) away by the visual images, especially the scenes of the station and the Parisian streets, and I loved the way the 3D __ (7) pulled you into the magical world. It was definitely the best use of 3D I've __ (8) seen.

Although it __ (9) have been a little shorter, in general, I thought it was absolutely brilliant. I __ (10) recommend it to people of all ages.
