1. Describe the people and/ or the things you can see in the picture.
"In the picture I can see two children playing. There is a boy and a girl. The boy may be ten and the girl may be younger. They are wearing sport clothes in bright colours. They are playing with a ball but they aren't playing football or basketball. The day is shiny and they are enjoying playing that sport"
2. Express a hypothesis. Justify your answer with things you can see in the picture.
"I don't know the sport they are playing. Perhaps they are playing a new sport they have made up. It seems to me that they are having a lot of fun because they are laughing. I think the boy is playing much better because he is catching the ball. The girl might be learning how to play this game with the rules the boy is telling. Maybe they are in the garden at the back of the boy's house. I think he isn't his brother but he may be his older cousin."
3. Express your opinion about the picture.
"Playing in a garden with other children is a pastime a lot of children don't do nowadays. They have to do a lot of homework, so they haven't got any free time. Besides they usually have extracurricular activities in the afternoon, like extra lessons, sports or dancing. In the end they don't enjoy their childhood. Parents should be aware of that, helping them to have some free time to enjoy themselves because they are just children"
